Untouched. Whole worlds, like ripened fruit, withering away under so much fading starlight. Waiting for us, to be given purpose. The sprawling and infinite canvas on which to paint humanity’s shining magnum opus.

Not that you’ll have any say in it. 

You: who aren't so much people as programs.

But it’s honest work. Decent pay, great benefits, and you’ll be part of something bigger, more important. That’s what you were made for.

And even if you ran… where would you go? There’s nowhere in the dark that’ll take you; not in your condition. Nowhere we couldn’t find you.
